This long-standing course began in Coral Gables, FL, in 1986, annually lead by RONDA COLE. The course moved to St. Petersburg, FL, for a few years and eventually found it’s way to Nashville, TN, in 2010. Suzuki teachers from all over the US and abroad, enjoy exploring many aspects of studying, learning & teaching the violin, using the Suzuki Method, with RONDA COLE’S insightful guidance and experience. To be a participant in this course, you must be a current member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA). To register this course with the SAA, you must have registered training through Suzuki Bk. 4 and participate in all course and observation hours. Click Overview Registration to register.The maximum number of course participants is 15. RONDA COLE will also teach Master Class lessons as part of the required observation hours. Depending on availability, a limited number of Master Class lessons may be available to course participants, for an additional fee, on a “first come, first served” basis. MTSA Teachers and Parents provide a POT LUCK DINNER for the course participants, Sunday evening, February, 19th, from 6:00-7:00pm, onsite at the WO Smith Music School. Let us know if you would like to attend this dinner and are willing to bring something. The course schedule only allows one hour for dinner that evening & return for another seminar hour. If you are willing to help with this dinner set-up before 6:00pm and/or clean-up afterwards, please contact Deidre Bacco, dbacco@comcast.net. WILLIAMS FINE VIOLINS, of Nashville, will sponsor a FAREWELL LUNCHEON for RONDA COLE, the participants and local MTSA teachers, Thursday, February 23rd, at 11:30am, location tbd.
