Jean Parks Memorial Fund
Jean Parks, a beloved Suzuki teacher, passed away of colon cancer in December of 2005. She was a champion of the
Suzuki philosophy and the MTSA. She is greatly missed. A scholarship fund from contributions in her honor and MTSA
funds has been set up in the amount of $2000 at SunTrust Bank. Additional contributions can be made at any SunTrust
Bank location. Beginning in 2009, these funds will be used to enable MTSA teacher members to obtain invaluable
teacher training sponsored by the Suzuki Association of the Americas. It is the MTSA's Hope that the Jean Parks
Memorial Fund will continue to grow as Suzuki students and alumni honor both the memory of a beloved Suzuki teacher
and their own teacher by contributing to the fund. All contributions are tax-deductible.
